Embassy Chef Challenge

The Embassy of Algeria proudly participated in the 2025 Events DC Embassy Chef Challenge, one of Washington, DC’s most anticipated global culinary showcases.

We were honored to be part of this event hosted by DC restaurateur and former Top Chef contestant Spike Mendelsohn, and judged by an esteemed panel of culinary experts.

Held on July 10, 2025, at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., the event brought together chefs from around the world, with approximately 40 countries showcasing the unique flavors of their national cuisines.
