National Mujahid Day Commemoration

 ​The Embassy of Algeria in US commemorated National Mujahid Day, which marks the dual anniversary of two pivotal events. The 70th anniversary of the August 20, 1955 attacks in northern Constantine and the 69th anniversary of the Soummam Conference, held on August 20, 1956. ​To mark the occasion, the Algerian national flag was raised and the Fatiha was recited in memory of the righteous martyrs.
