The Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs Ahmed_Ataf, spoke today with Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

The Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, #Mr_Ahmed_Ataf, today, received a phone call  from the Secretary of State of America, Mr. Marco Rubio.

On this occasion, Minister Ahmed Ataf renewed his congratulations to his American counterpart on his appointment as the head writer of the United States. The two parties also praised the positive dynamics shown by Algerian-American relations, and agreed to combine their efforts to consolidate bilateral cooperation in areas of priority such as defense, energy, agriculture, and science and technology.

Following the rise of international multilateral work, the ministers have researched the developments in the Middle East and expressed their commitment to continue the bilateral coordination within the National Security Council in order to establish a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip and ensure its sustainability, and to accompany the brothers in both Syria and Lebanon towards achieving security, stability and maintaining their sovereignty and national unity.
