In this context, the Algerian American Community Association (AACA), in coordination with the Embassy, organized a series of community Iftar gatherings during the holy month of Ramadan. Some of these gatherings were dedicated to students and single members of the community, while the Laylat al-Qadr Iftar, held on March 14, was open to the entire Algerian community, particularly families.

These gatherings took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere, reflecting the values of solidarity and mutual support that characterize the Algerian people during this blessed month. His Excellency Mr. Sabri Boukadoum, Ambassador of Algeria to the United States, attended part of these gatherings, contributing to further strengthening the bonds within the community.

On this occasion, Mark R. Warner, United States Senator for the Commonwealth of Virginia, conveyed a message on the occasion of Ramadan, expressing his appreciation for the positive contributions of the Algerian and Muslim communities in the region.

As an extension of these initiatives, the Algerian American Community Association (AACA) organized an Eid al-Fitr reception on March 22 in Fairfax, Virginia, bringing together members of the Algerian community in a spirit of unity and conviviality, and concluding the Ramadan activities.

The Embassy commends the efforts of the Algerian associations that organized these gatherings, as well as all Algerian families and volunteers, for their valuable contributions to the success of these initiatives.
