General Dagvin R.M. Anderson, Commander of the United States Africa Command (AFRICOM), has arrived in Algiers for an official visit to Algeria.

At the outset of his visit, General Anderson paid tribute to Algeria's history and national memory with a wreath-laying ceremony at the Maqam Echahid. This visit underscores the continued strengthening of bilateral relations between Algeria and the United States.
