Closure of the Exceptional Revision of Electoral Lists and Opening of the Objection Period
The Electoral Rolls Review Commission at the Embassy of Algeria in Washington, D.C. hereby informs all members of the Algerian community residing within its consular jurisdiction and duly registered with its services that, following the closure of the exceptional revision of the electoral lists on Sunday, April 26, 2026, the objection period has been officially opened.
This is in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 21-01 of March 10, 2021, as amended and supplemented, relating to the electoral system, particularly Articles 68 and 69 thereof.
Citizens may submit a reasoned objection for:
- The removal of a person improperly registered
- The registration of an omitted person
- Filing an appeal within the same electoral district
Objections may be submitted in person at the Electoral Lists Revision Committee at the Embassy, or via email at: elections@algerianembassy.org
