Exceptional Review of the Electoral Rolls

The Embassy of Algeria in Washington, D.C. informs all members of the Algerian community residing within its consular jurisdiction that, pursuant to Presidential Decree No. 26-145 dated April 4, 2026, calling the electorate for the election of members of the People's National Assembly, it has been decided to initiate the exceptional review of the electoral rolls from April 12, 2026, to April 26, 2026.

The Electoral Rolls Review Commission invites all eligible citizens who are not yet registered to submit their registration request in person, by mail, or by email.

The Embassy of Algeria in Washington, D.C. informs all members of the Algerian community residing within its consular jurisdiction that, pursuant to Presidential Decree No. 26-145 dated April 4, 2026, it has been decided to initiate the exceptional review of the electoral rolls.

This is in accordance with Ordinance No. 21-01 dated March 10, 2021, relating to the organic law on the electoral system, as amended and supplemented, in particular Articles 62 and 65, calling the electorate for the election of members of the People's National Assembly.

The Electoral Rolls Review Commission invites all citizens who are not registered on the electoral rolls, who have reached the age of eighteen (18) years on the day of the election, and who meet the legal eligibility requirements, to request their registration by completing the registration form available at the Embassy or on its official website, and submitting it in person, by mail, or by email.

Voters who have changed their place of residence are required to update their address or request removal from the electoral roll of their previous constituency using the designated form.
