71st anniversary of the outbreak of the glorious Liberation Revolution

 

The Algerian Embassy in Washington commemorated Wednesday the 71st anniversary of the outbreak of the glorious Liberation Revolution.

The ceremony was attended by members of the diplomatic corps and accredited defense attachés in the U.S. capital, alongside journalists, businesspeople, artistic and literary figures, and members of the Algerian community. The U.S. government was represented by Mr. Christopher Landau, Deputy Secretary of State, who affirmed in his speech the United States’ willingness to strengthen its relations with Algeria.

Ambassador Sabri Boukadoum, in his address on the occasion, highlighted the significance of the November Revolution and the sacrifices of Algeria’s martyrs. He also praised the strength of the historical Algerian-American relationship as a solid foundation for building a diverse, strong, and mutually beneficial bilateral partnership.
