Ambassador Boukadoum Attends Africa Day 2026 Reception at the Smithsonian
Ambassador Sabri Boukadoum attended the #AfricaDay2026 Commemorative Reception at the Smithsonian National Museum of African Art in Washington, D.C., held under the African Union theme: "Assuring Sustainable Water Availability and Safe Sanitation Systems."
The event was an opportunity to celebrate Africa's shared heritage, strengthen the bonds that unite its peoples, and reaffirm a collective commitment to a more prosperous, inclusive, and sustainable future for the continent in the spirit of #TheAfricaWeWant.
The Embassy of Algeria proudly showcased Algeria's rich cultural heritage through a dedicated booth featuring traditional Algerian couscous, Algerian tea, traditional pastries, and displays of traditional Algerian attire and craftsmanship.
A wonderful opportunity to share Algeria's culture and traditions with representatives of the African Diplomatic Corps, U.S. administration Officials, civil society organizations, and distinguished guests.
