Launch of the Voting Process for the Election of Members of the People's National Assembly at the Embassy of Algeria in Washington, D.C.
This morning, the Embassy of Algeria in Washington, D.C., officially launched the voting process for the election of members of the People's National Assembly representing the National Community Abroad, within the framework of the 2026 legislative elections.
The opening of the polling station took place under satisfactory organizational conditions, with all necessary human and logistical resources put in place to ensure the smooth conduct of the electoral process and to enable members of the Algerian community residing within the Embassy's electoral district to exercise their constitutional right under the best possible conditions.
The National Independent Authority for Elections, in coordination with Algeria's diplomatic and consular representations abroad, continues to ensure the transparency and integrity of this important national electoral process by overseeing all stages of the elections with complete neutrality and independence and by providing the appropriate conditions that guarantee citizens the opportunity to exercise their right to vote freely and with confidence.
On this occasion, the Embassy of Algeria in Washington, D.C., invites all registered Algerian citizens within its jurisdiction to proceed to the polling stations and participate in this important national event, reflecting their civic spirit and their enduring attachment to the homeland.
