Announcement on Customs Declaration and Transit Procedures — Summer Season 2026
As part of the Algerian authorities' commitment to ensuring the best possible reception conditions for members of the national community residing abroad during the 2026 summer season, and in implementation of directives aimed at facilitating entry procedures into the homeland through ports, airports, and border crossings, the Embassy of Algeria in Washington, D.C. informs all members of the national community that the Directorate General of Customs has made available a series of publications and informational videos in Arabic, English, and French.

ALCES Digital Platform
The Directorate General of Customs invites all concerned travelers to create a personal account on the ALCES digital platform to complete customs procedures electronically:

Traveler Publications
Every traveler entering or leaving national territory with their vehicle is required to subscribe to a Transit Pass (TPD) with the Customs Administration.
