Summer Camp 2026 — Educational Initiative for Children of the Algerian Community Abroad
The Embassy of Algeria in Washington, D.C. is pleased to inform members of the Algerian community residing within its consular jurisdiction that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in coordination with the Ministry of National Education, has launched an educational initiative consisting of Summer Camp educational classes for children of the Algerian community abroad during their summer stay in Algeria.
As part of the efforts to strengthen the ties between members of the Algerian community abroad and their homeland, and to reinforce their national and cultural identity, this initiative aims to provide participants with Arabic language instruction based on the Algerian national curriculum, while strengthening their knowledge of Algeria's national identity in its historical, cultural, and spiritual dimensions.
Program Sessions
Age Groups
- Group 1: Children aged 8 to 12 years
- Group 2: Children aged 13 to 16 years
Participating Provinces (14 Wilayas)
Chlef, Béjaïa, Biskra, Tlemcen, Tiaret, Algiers, Jijel, Sétif, Skikda, Annaba, El Bayadh, El Oued, Khenchela, and Aïn Témouchent.
