To mark this historic milestone, the Embassy has unveiled a commemorative banner at its new building in downtown Washington, D.C., which will serve as its future Chancery. The banner highlights the close proximity of the Independence Days of Algeria and the United States, while celebrating the enduring friendship and strong historical ties that unite our two nations.
As Algeria prepares to celebrate the 64th anniversary of its Independence, this initiative reflects our shared commitment to the values of freedom, sovereignty, and mutual respect, while looking ahead to an even stronger partnership between our two countries.
