On August 20, the Embassy of Algeria in Washington commemorated National Mujahideen Day, marking the dual anniversary of the North Constantine Offensive and the Soummam Congress, under the theme: “Following in the Footsteps of Their Struggle.”
The occasion was a moment to honor the sacrifices of our Mujahideen and our glorious martyrs, and to reaffirm our commitment to the values of the Algerian Revolution. The commemoration included the playing of the national anthem, a minute of silence in tribute to the souls of our martyrs, the recitation of Al-Fatiha, and an address marking the occasion.
