Under the theme “Independence: A Trust for Future Generations,” the Embassy of Algeria in Washington commemorated the 64th Anniversary of Algeria’s Independence Day, July 5, 1962-2026.
The ceremony featured the performance of the Algerian National Anthem and the recitation of Al-Fatiha in memory of Algeria’s valiant martyrs. Ambassador Sabri Boukadoum delivered a speech highlighting the profound significance of this historic day, paying tribute to the immense sacrifices of Algeria’s Martyrs and freedom fighters whose courage secured the Nation’s independence.
