Following the passing of former President of the Republic and veteran, the late Liamine Zeroual, the Embassy of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria in Washington, D.C. announces the opening of a book of condolences at its premises.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Late Zeroual joined the Algerian War of Independence at a young age. Since then, he spent a distinguished life of service to the Nation before assuming the highest responsibilities as the Head of State during a critical period in the country's history.
May the deceased rest in peace and be granted a place in Paradise, and may his family be granted patience and comfort.
Indeed, we belong to God and to Him we shall return.
