Algerian National Parks Shine on Mars: A Historical and Global Tribute

Ambassador Sabri Boukadoum expressed his pride in the inclusion of the Tassili n'Ajjer, Djurdjura and Ghoufi national parks in the new mapping of the Martian region of Jezero by the scientific teams involved in NASA's Mars missions, and which symbolize the richness and diversity of our landscapes, in addition to the cultural heritage of Algeria that we must protect. This recognition, initiated by physicist Nordine Melikechi, highlights the global value of Algeria's natural treasures and these national parks that represent the collective memory and rich identity of our country. Their inclusion in the Mars maps symbolizes the unity between Earth and Mars.
