The Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, received on Sunday, the senior advisor to the President of the United States of America for Africa, Massad Boulos, who is paying an official visit to Algeria.
In this respect, the Minister of State held a one-on-one meeting with Boulos, followed by expanded talks with members of the delegations from both countries, which enabled to review different aspects of Algerian-American relations and examine ways to elevate them to the highest levels.
In this respect, the two parties hailed the strategic dialogue between Algeria and the United States, commending the positive momentum that the bilateral partnership is experiencing across numerous vital sectors of priority character for the two countries, such as defense, energy, agriculture, higher education and scientific research.
The two parties also highlighted the level of coordination between the two countries at the United Nations Security Council” and proceeded to “an exchange of views and analyses on the main current issues in Africa, notably the developments of the situation in Libya, Western Sahara, the Sahel, in the Great Lakes region and in deep Africa in general.
